Hand made Q’ero alpaca Poncho From Peru.

This traditional Q`ero Poncho is used in ceremonies and comes from the Q`ero people and their villages of 5000 meters high in the Andes. This Poncho is made in the finest Alpacka wool in ceremony and is very heavy, thick and warm. This crafts takes up to one year to weave.

From the process of taking the wool from the alpacka and the colors of nature to weave the poncho. During the process they fill it with love, prayers and link the energy to the person who will wear it through various shamanic processes.

And these designs share a prophecy that one day an Inca which represents an enlightened person, an INCAndescent, descendet of the INCA/Enlightened ones, will once again rule the lands like they ruled before.

The laguna and the apus are shown on this poncho. The apus are sacred mountains throughout the sacred valley that the Shamans would seek and give thanks to for sharing their wisdom... at the top of these apus where they plateau behind the face of the mountain are often found natural lakes called laguna that also hold sacred spirits who shared wisdom healing and protection to the mountain shamans.
